I am Paul Duxbury an experienced Learning and Development Manager who is focused on actively solving business problems. As a Learning and Development Manager I have worked across various sectors in both regulated and non-regulated organisations.
I ensure that I am accessible to colleagues at all levels and always look to consider the impact on the organisation and individuals of Training projects and activities I am involved in. Whether working in the commercial or not for profit environment I aim to take a people centred approach to encourage engagement.

Managed the budget (including a significant Apprenticeship Levy) across all Group members for the learning and development function which ensured costs were controlled to deliver effective solutions.
Re-focused, developed and managed the eLearning offering across the business working closely with content and system providers to address development needs. This included the implementation of a new eLearning offering to the whole Group.

BSS (Broadcasting Support Services) a major Outsourcing Provider working with Government, Third Sector/Charity and Private Sector clients to provide communications, fulfilment, distribution and web-enabled solutions
Designed the L&D strategy and managed the L&D function for this communications-solutions provider and worked with stakeholders across multiple sites and functions.
Increased NVQ achievement rates from 29% to 99.2% in 12 months by overhauling NVQ delivery systems which led to client bonus payments of circa 5% of contract value.
Developed and embedded management development, coaching, appraisals, absence management, recruitment, sales, and system training across six sites at trustee, executive, and manager levels.
Developed an Emerging Talent Programme which addressed attraction and retention of junior and mid-level managers.
